Since 1988, Other World has provided quality hardware and support to the computer industry through one of the largest online catalogs of tech enhancement products. In order to support its e-commerce portal, the brand sought to refine their visual identity while enhancing their market positioning.

OWC’s objective was clear—they wanted to maintain their existing logo while elevating the visual identity of the brand to better resonate with consumer needs. To gain insight into target audiences, we evaluated the market landscape and strategically developed user personas. These personas illuminated how the brand could be enhanced and, through iteration, informed the design of a clean, modern, and futuristic aesthetic. Paired with the development of a clear brand mission, vision, and value statements, these elements helped form the cornerstone of a new product strategy.
In collaboration with OWC, we designed a comprehensive style guide to serve as a roadmap for the implementation of identity across platforms. This branding was applied to presentation templates, social media assets, print collateral, and more to support the client’s communication strategy. Additionally, this identity was integrated into OWC’s website design to enhance user experience. Focusing on a solutions-oriented approach to merchandising, the web experience highlights creative profiles and trade workflows to target pain points and guide purchasing via expert recommendations.

Rounding out the refresh, we showcased OWC’s merchandise in stunning detail by developing a suite of photorealistic product renderings and trade show concepts. These strategic digital assets not only serve as the foundation for a new product catalog, but are also the centerpiece for compelling marketing and Amazon A+ Content—further solidifying the company’s position as a leader in their industry.
